The Church is basically a medieval church. For the greater part from the 1200s, built of gray stone. According to a legend it was built by 16 river inhabitants - the only working men who were in the area at the time.
One of Ullånger church's most unique items is a medieval reliquary or Ullånger shrine, as it has come to be called. The box is probably made in France in the 1200s and one of some few of its kind in Sweden.
