Ullånger - Utvik
The village with the world's largest garment hangers. The garment hanger is just beside the E4, and has a wingspan of 11 meters and was originally covered with gold leaf.
If you arrive by boat, you enter furthest into the Ullånger bay, at Utvik, the home port of the archipelago boat coastal trafic. Next door is a marina with two berths, well protected from storms and wind. From here it is 500 feet to the cantral Ullånger but by going a bit up in the river, you can shorten the distance to the fuel, business and other services. Watch out for shoals.
Ullånger is the birthplace of the composer and the music critic Wilhelm Pettersson-Berger (1867-1942) and the biathlon queen Magdalena Forsberg.
