Just north of Skuleberget you’ll find the somewhat hidden gem of Nätra Fjällskog, offering activities for both summer and winter. Thanks to its high elevation, the area receives snow early in the season and it stays well into spring. Fresh snow, snow-laden spruces and newly groomed tracks are hard to beat in this magical environment reminiscent of the mountain regions.
During winter, more than 20 kilometers of natural trails are prepared for those who want to enjoy beautiful cross-country skiing. The area is also suitable for off-track ski touring, but be mindful of the nature reserve boundaries.
At the trailheads at Hinnsjöstugan and Skrikestugan, you’ll find parking areas, information boards and open cabins.
