Sigbritt Manns Silberschmiede
In ihrer Werkstatt in Salsåker fertigt die Silberschmiedin Sigbritt Mann (geb. 1962) Schmuck, Kunstwerke und Gebrauchsgegenstände nach eigenen Entwürfen. Ihr Hof beherbergt neben Wohnung und Schmiede auch ein Geschäft (im Sommer geöffnet) und ein Lokal für Kurse und Workshops.

Suggested visit length: <1 hour
Stunden : In the summer time, the silver studio is open: Wednesday - Saturday 12-17 from the week after midsummer to mid-August. The rest of the year it is possible to make visits by appointment. The building and the premises are adapted for the disabled.

Beschreibung
Today, Sigbritt has been active in her profession for more than 30 years, after her Master of Fine Arts from Art College, Konstfack in Stockholm, 1990. Her work consists of all parts of the process, from idea to finished jewelry, art or functional objects. Silver is her main material, but she also works with other metals and materials, often in various combinations.

During a tour of the High Coast, it can be interesting to know that: In Multrå church, outside Sollefteå there is a communion service and in Vibyggerå church in Docksta there are candle holders for the old altar candlesticks - design and craft by Sigbritt Mann.
