The Kyrkstigen (church trail) starts at Ullångers Hotell and follows the old church path through the village Salom, up against Kallsta mountain pastures and further towards Almsjönäs. There begins the Vildmarksleden (wilderness trail).

Road description : The trail starts at Ullånger Church. Parking facilities.

Description

The Vildmarksleden trail follows old paths over Vallahöjden, the highest mountain in Ullånger, and then passes the old summer pastures and beautiful views. The trail then follows the long valley down at Edssjön against Äskja and finally Sundbron. The total distance is about 40 km. Along the trail there are three shelters with resting areas.
