A September night 2013 someone painted the stairs leading up to Härnösand's cathedral in the colors of the rainbow. The color was removed. Tor Frylmark, dean in Härnösand's cathedral assembly, wanted to create a permanent solution; A rainbow rug for diversity and human worth!
On September 16, 2014, the 17-meter-long rainbow mat in Härnösand's cathedral was opened.
