In the old, beautiful fishing village Bönhamn is also a chapel placed. Gustav Wasa leased during the 1500s the fishingwaters along the coast in the northern Sweden to fishermen from Gävle.

Description

They came in the early spring with their families and pets and built simpler dwellings. They built this chapel also. During that time, the population must by law attend for worship - or risk fines - and the chapel was this close fishermen workplaces.
