Description

At the visitor centre Mjälloms Tunnbröd you can learn about the traditional making of tunnbröd (Swedish flat bread). Here you also have the opportunity to purchase all the different types of flat bread as well as other delicacies from the High Coast.

The shop is always open for self-service weekdays between 07:00 – 19:00, Saturday and Sunday 07:00 – 17:00. Most of the times we are available during office hours if you need any help. Since the summer 2017 we are also an Infopoint where you can find information about the High Coast.

Guided tours are available for larger groups of people if you book in advance. If you are a larger group and just want to make a quick stop to do some shopping, please call us on 0613-71 13 50 to pre-book your group so that we can give you the best service when you arrive.

Whilst you are in the area, please visit our bakehouse where we make flatbread the traditional way by hand using a woodfired oven. If you would like to try making flatbread yourself, please visit hogakusten.com where you will find information and availability for this activity. The bakehouse is open all summer.
