In scenic Bönhamn, time seems to have stood still. Around the small harbor, which nature has single-handedly ensured that it is well protected, the boathouses stand close together.
Behind them there are still old yeast dikes that remind of the time when fishing was the main industry. If you come with your own boat, the harbor has several additional docks. Bönhamn offers excellent hiking trails and a fishing chapel from 1659, which was originally built on the island of Höglomsen outside the fishing village. Take the opportunity to have a coffee or lunch at Bönhamns Brygga. Another island that you must not miss is the incomparable Högbonden, you can get there by tour boat that leaves several times a day from Bönhamn during the summer.
