Smitingens Havsbad
The Smitingen bathing area, with its large sandy beach and wonderful shallow water, is the biggest and most popular beach in Härnösand. You can unwind in the café, eat an ice-cream or play beach volleyball on one of the courts.

Description
The bathing area has partial disabled access, with a ramp and disabled toilet. Smitingen nature reserve is close by, with its spectacular geological formations, caves, moulin potholes and limestone pillars. The area is now classifed as a Natura 2000 area.
